In the morning in Tokyo, the dollar was strong and the yen was strong. As European time approaches, the dollar is strong but there is little sense of direction. From NY to London fixes, the dollar is strong. The yen weakened against the dollar at the close in New York.

The daily balance changed to 151.63 dollar/yen buy, 1.0840 euro sell, 1.2640 pound sell, 0.6580 Aussie sell, 99.40 Aussie yen sell, and moved to overnight position. *Euro yen selling 164.00 and pound yen selling 191.00 have been cancelled.

In descending order of weakness against the dollar: the yen, the Aussie, the pound, and the euro (on an intraday basis).
