The dollar is weak in the morning in Tokyo. As European time approaches, the yen appreciates against the dollar. From New York to London, the yen weakened across the board and the dollar strengthened. At the close in NY, the yen was weak and the dollar was weak.

The intraday balance changed to dollar/yen buying at 147.60, euro buying at 1.0832, and pound buying at 1.2698 again, shifting to an overnight position. *Aussie sell 0.6586 and Aussie yen sell 97.44 have been cancelled.
