| | Amazon Kindle Bestselling Department | | Do. In the construction industry’s management era I encountered investing, but I experienced a loss of 160 million yen due to gambling trading. After that, I faced investing head-on and solidified my trading method to make a comeback. My book ‘How to Live Calmly at 60 through FX’ became a bestseller in the Amazon Kindle department. |

A popular trader on GoGoJungle and a Amazon Kindle bestseller, Do. kindly provided a free excerpt from his e-book this time. Please check the password in the video and obtain it. |
Simple Logic FX was born from stubborn perseverance |
On Do.'s profile page it says, “FX can definitely be mastered.” What is the heart behind that? |
| | | GogoNyan |
|
 | | Do. |
| I have been doing this for nearly 20 years, but for more than 10 years I hadn’t had much success. Still, by not giving up and continuing to search for a method that fits me, I was able to master FX. |
|
| That’s what “Simple Logic FX” is. What kind of logic is it? |
| | | GogoNyan |
|
 | | Do. |
| | I was bad at forecasting markets and my discretionary trading was hopeless. Being a persistent man, I kept trying what I could do, and eventually arrived at semi-automatic trading. |
|
I see. From here, I’d like to ask about Do.’s half-life, or rather his long investment history. |
| | | GogoNyan |
|
Started futures with 500,000 yen. At one point 50,000,000 yen… but that’s where hell began |
| How did your first investment start? |
| | | GogoNyan |
|
 | | Do. |
| I started futures investing with the funds from the construction business I ran at the time, wanting to grow them. I started with 500,000 yen, but before long I also touched the business funds. Futures investing could move a lot, and at one point it grew to 50 million yen. |
|
| Incredible result! But were there pitfalls? |
| |
 | | Do. |
| I should have quit then, but greed kept me going. And after various crashes, I faced margin calls worth millions to tens of millions. Several years of harsh times followed. |
|
| | | GogoNyan |
|
 | | Do. |
| There was a kind of gambling addiction. I ran around to get funds, managed to hold on somehow, but such harsh times continued for several years.
|
|
Words from a mentor that changed my life and a strategy for the underdog |
| After that, there was a turning point, didn’t there? |
| | | GogoNyan |
|
 | | Do. |
| It was when I attended a seminar by my mentor who moves hundreds of billions. It’s embarrassing to say, but I asked, “Please lend me money.” At that time the mentor said “I can lend you money, but I cannot charge you.” “FX will help you recover and invite me to your hometown.” That’s when I changed. |
|
That’s a strict but warm phrase. From there, how did you change? |
| |
 | | Do. |
| I closed the construction business and faced investing. I traded with a demo account, repeatedly verified with past data. That led to the birth of Simple Logic and Kagiashi (key foot) strategies. |
|
I see. What did you realize through those big losses? |
| | | GogoNyan |
|
 | | Do. |
| |
 | | Do. |
| For example, “Settlements are ten times harder than entries,” but rather than blaming my weak mental state, I shifted perspective to rely on a system. From there I studied various settlement patterns and worked with a programmer to repeatedly improve them hundreds of times, building a settlement system. |
|
Because settlements are done automatically, the mental state remains stable even during trades. That’s why I can continue. |
| | | GogoNyan |
|
 | | Do. |
| |
In the next interview, I’d like to delve deeper into that Simple Logic. |
