[10/26 USDJPY Scalping Points]
Good work today! Now let's go with USDJPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently, USDJPY is at the 156.95 yen level. This morning it started around 157.00 yen, but during Tokyo time it moved with no clear direction around 157 yen.
Today's Tokyo high is around 157.20 yen, and Tokyo low is around 156.65 yen.
USDJPY looks set to hand over to overseas time near the morning level.
This week on Wednesday from the FOMC in the US, on Thursday the ECB in Europe, and on Friday the Bank of Japan policy meeting awaits. Until then, it’s natural that there is no clear direction, but let’s pray that volatility does not decrease. Even without a clear direction, as long as there is some volatility, we scalpers can trade.
Now, tonight’s USDJPY scalping points (my notes).
● Movements near the 16:00 London market open
● Movements near the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
—–
Other notes ..
・No particularly important US indicators or events today
・Be aware of headlines related to Middle East developments and crude oil prices

Tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping strategy” will trade around movements near market opens in London and New York when there are no highly anticipated US indicators or events. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” if you follow the theory, there should be no problem. Discard the direction and follow the chart movement.
Also, if you’re aiming for shorts with the “15-minute scalping strategy,” wait for a small rebound and then look to sell around 157.00-157.10 yen or lower before following down. Today’s Tokyo low is around 156.65 yen.
Also, a note on recent events,Recently, Mr. Gogojan came all the way to my office for an interview about “scalping.” I’m grateful for the opportunity. I spoke a little, so please take a look when you have time.

Because scalping targets small profit margins, it can seem like there are opportunities around the clock, but that is not the case. By targeting periods with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The times I target are around the open of the London market and around the open of the New York market.
・London market open time (16:00 during US daylight saving time / 17:00 during US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 during US daylight saving time / 23:00 during US standard time)
After US indicators or events are announced, volatility often rises and offers more opportunities. However, in the first few minutes after the announcement, spreads can widen, so always enter only after the spreads return to normal as a rule.
Please always check the US indicators and events schedule in advance. Knowing the times when opportunities will arise helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning immediately before US indicators or events. If you trade against the news, you will be faced with losses in an instant. Careless mistakes are unacceptable, absolutely.
The US indicators and events schedule can be checked on the websites of each securities company and FX broker.
Of course, beyond the three points above there are many other tips, but I’ve described the essential points to keep in mind when scalping USDJPY.
