【Fibonacci Dedicated Tool Explanation】 Episode 3: Flexible TP/SL Settings (Badge Dragging Operation / Detailed Settings Panel
A scene where you want to align the position to the pattern of rebound
Last time, I talked about how pressing a preset would immediately determine the positions of TP and SL.
However, the preset position isn’t necessarily optimal as is. There are times when the rebound high/low and the Fibonacci levels are slightly misaligned. Many of you may have a hunch: “I’d like to allow a little more room for SL” or “TP could be extended a bit more.”
You can preset a certain range and then adjust further to match the shape you see with your own eyes. Below is an explanation of how to do that.
All features are here⇒FibonacciTradeSystem
The badges can be moved freely by dragging
You can drag the TP/SL badges with the mouse as is. Move them from the pressed position to anywhere you like.
However, you cannot place them in positions where orders are impossible.
For example, while BUYing, if you try to move SL above TP, it will stop at the TP position.
From this state, you can move the SL badge as shown below. Of course, the TP badge can be adjusted too.
Therefore, you can move them by feel without worrying about breaking their relative positions. Please try dragging them at least once.
↑↓ buttons align exactly to the Fibonacci levels
Under the badges there are also ↑↓ buttons.
Pressing these moves you up or down one standard Fibonacci level at a time. Dragging often results in slightly off positions. If you want exact alignment, the ↑↓ buttons may be easier to use.
From this state, you can move both TP/SL badges to a target level with a single click, as shown below.
In the “Details” panel, order method and offset can be set numerically
There are times when you want to set values numerically. There is a “Details” button to adjust those.
↑ This is the normal display.
↑ When you press the Details button, the settings panel expands. You can configure the “Order method” and “Offset.”
↑ Pressing each setting item will display a configuration screen. The order type you choose here will be used later when you press the place order button.
↑ If you change the default values, a “Reflect” button will appear. Changes are reflected when you press the button.
↑ The offset settings can be configured as shown here.
Offset is used when you want to place an order slightly off from a reference level. You can decide for TP and SL whether to move inward or outward, and by how many pips, independently for each.
In the Details panel, changing multiple settings does not finalize them immediately. If only one change is made, click “Reflect”; if two or more, click “Reflect All” to finalize the changes. If you haven’t reflected yet, you can press “Cancel” to redo everything.
Reason for making this feature
The reason I provided both dragging and the ↑↓ controls was that there are times when I want to flexibly adjust TP/SL prices depending on the situation. Sometimes I want to move by feel, and other times I want to align precisely to levels.
Dividing the offsets into inward/outward is to enable rule-based adjustments to “allow a little extra room.”
If you actually use it, you’ll find adjusting TP/SL is easy to change according to the situation and purpose.
Actual screens and details of other features are listed on the product page.
