From currency strength, perfect order, SMC (Smart Money Concept), to no-repaint signal tools, all of my self-made tools are explained from their mechanisms by the creator themselves. We stopped manual drawing of SMC — MT4 indicator that automatically draws OB, FVG, BOS all automatically【SMC-Radar】#01

This time, we will introduce the first in the SMC seriesSMC-Radarin one sentence,an analysis tool that automatically and in real time draws the six main elements of SMC (Smart Money Concept) on MT4 charts.

There is no longer a need to manually draw Order Blocks, FVGs, or BOS.

Are you drawing more than you must as you learn SMC?

SMC has rapidly spread in recent years as a way to “read the footprints of institutional investors.” I learned it too, but the more I learned, the more I ran into problems.

  • Drawing Order Blocks and FVGsmanually is tediousand drawing cannot keep up

  • Every time you switch timeframes,you have to redraw from scratch.

  • While you’re drawing, the market moves,and you may miss BOS/CHoCH

  • Old zones linger,and the chart becomes full of garbage.

  • If you don’t pin it to the chart,you won’t notice important price levels

Although the analysis methods are powerful, their operation is very heavy. I think this is the reality of SMC.

SMC-Radar was created to automate this “drawing work” completely.

Six elements of SMC drawn automatically

Just set it on the chart and it detects and draws the following six elements.

1. Order Block (OB)

Automatically detects price ranges where institutional orders are concentrated. Bullish OBs are shown in blue, bearish OBs in red as rectangles.

The key ismanaging invalidation. OBs that are reached and invalidated are automatically deleted (or grayed out), so the chart showsonly currently valid OBs.

2. Fair Value Gap (FVG)

Detects “price gaps” formed by three candles. Upward FVGs are shown in purple, downward FVGs in orange, and when price fills the gap they disappear automatically.

3. BOS / CHoCH (Break of Structure / Change of Character)

Based on swing highs and lows, the continuation of the trendBOS (Break of Structure) is shown with a white line, and the trend reversalCHoCH (Change of Character) is shown with an orange line. This is the backbone of SMC to prevent “notice and break happened before you notice.”

4. Breaker Block

A reversal zone after an OB has been broken. Displayed in a different color from regular OBs, so it can be used as a basis for retests.

5. Premium / Discount zones

Based on the 50% line of the most recent swing (equilibrium point), the upper half is displayed as Premium (overvalued) and the lower half as Discount (undervalued) as background colors. This lets you instinctively adhere to SMC’s basic principle of “buying at Discount, selling at Premium.”

6. Liquidity Sweep

Detects and marks with arrows the pattern where the recent swing high/low briefly breaks and reverses in a “stop-hunt” move, allowing you to recognize false breaks.

Five types of alerts to free you from “being glued to the screen”

Notifications are as important as automation of drawing. SMC-Radar can alert on the following five events.

  • OB touch (price reaches Order Block)

  • FVG touch (price reaches Fair Value Gap)

  • BOS / CHoCH occurrence

  • Breaker touch

  • Liquidity Sweep detection

Notification methods can be chosen from popup, push to smartphone, or sound. If you want to enter by waiting for OB, you can wait for the OB touch notification and then open the chart.

Customization is also comprehensive

  • All six elementscan be individually ON/OFF(e.g., show only OB and BOS)

  • Color changes for all elementsare possible

Why I made it

When I learned SMC, the first thing I did was redraw OBs and FVGs every morning. What I realized next wasthis task is too heavy for humans to keep doing.

You spend time drawing, and by the time you finish the situation has changed. If you codify the detection rules and let machines draw, humans can focus on “judgment.” I created SMC-Radar to eliminate my own daily routine entirely.
