First, could you tell us about the specific anomalies incorporated into Anomaly Technical?

When you say month-end, are the times of day and currency pairs also predetermined?
Hayakawa
Kiri
Yes. For example,USD/JPY shorts on month-end morningstend to perform well, andEUR/JPY longs in the afternoontend to set up—there are tendencies by currency.
London fixingis included too, right?
Hayakawa
Kiri
That’s right.On the final business day of the month at the London fixing, GBP/JPY tends to rise, and we factor in technicals as well to decide entries there.
Why it can trade 330 times per year

The “exit logic” that prevents reversals
Anomaly Technical’s exit logic is quite distinctive, isn’t it?

Kiri
We’ve implemented a mechanism that immediately closes positions when a sharp tick-level reversal is detected.
And it worked in situations where news caused sudden moves?
Hayakawa
Kiri
Yes. Even in scenarios that would normally run into the stop loss, there were cases where we secured about 30 pips in profit.
You also use the 15-minute moving average, correct?
Hayakawa
Kiri
If it judges that profits are unlikely to extend, it closes early to improve stability.

Lastly, please share your personal view on trading.

I used to trade discretionarily and often took trades I hadn’t validated.
What made you switch to EA operation?
Hayakawa
Kiri
Because I decided to take only trades whose expectancy I had calculated via backtesting.
And that rigor led to results.
